2010 Convention Details Announced!

Shawn Farquhar just released details about the next PCAM Convention.  It will be on a cruise ship again this year from Sunday, July 11, to Sunday, July 18, 2010.  You can read all about it by clicking here to visit the website created just for the convention.

Ken Scott’s Convention Review

One of the PCAM 2009 Conference performers, Ken Scott, spent some of his free time on board the Norwegian Pearl talking to the various magic celebrities on board the cruise.  He was “on location” for The Magic NewswireYou can listen to the whole podcast by clicking here. It’s almost as good as actually being there… but there was a lot of fun that couldn’t be captured via audio (or even on video for that matter).

Vlog Review of the 2009 Convention

Past Presidents, Shawn Farquhar and Donovan Deschner, sat down after the 2009 convention on board the Norwegian Pearl Cruise Ship to share their thoughts on the event.  The video that was created as part of Shawn’s vlog is in two parts on YouTube, but you can watch them both here:

And Part 2:

Shawn has taken on the conference again for next year and has selected Hawaii for our location. Stay tuned to this blog for all the details as they are announced.

A Central Location for the Biggest Little Convention

Welcome to the beginnings of a permanent online home for the Pacific Coast Association of Magicians (PCAM).  Every year the PCAM holds the biggest little convention that you will ever attend in a different city on the Pacific Coast.  With the convention moving every year our online presence has often moved with it – but not any more!  This website will soon become the central webpage for the organization and the convention.

Here are just some of the updates and bits of information that you will find here:

  • Information about upcoming conventions.
  • Reviews from previous conventions.
  • Details on past locations and Past Presidents.
  • A thorough index of our award winners (there are some BIG names).
  • A way to connect with other fans of the PCAM (in between the memorable conventions).

Past President, Donovan Deschner, will be in charge of the website, so if you have any ideas for improvements or suggestions for something that you would like to see, please email him: [email protected].
